FAQ's

What methods of payment do you accept? TOP

Daddy Gift Mart accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards.  Payment can also be made via PayPal (www.paypal.com).  If you prefer not to use a credit card but would like to pay with money in your checking account then selecting the PayPal option may be the choice for you.  Please note though that will all orders paid with an e-check (an electronic check), we will have to wait until that electronic check clears before your order can ship.  Generally this takes 4-5 business days. 
 
Note:  Orders placed online using your credit card will show the name of our parent company Bama Babies & Birthdays on your credit card statement.

Do you charge sales tax? TOP
All orders shipped to a location within the state of Alabama are charged 4% state sales tax.  All orders shipped outside the state of Alabama are exempt from sales tax.

Can I place my order over the phone? TOP
Yes, you may place your order over the phone by calling our customer service toll-free line at 1-866-428-6812.  Customer service is available to accept your call 9am-5pm CST, Monday-Friday.  We are closed most major holidays and on weekends.

Do you ship internationally? TOP
No, sorry but at this time we only ship within the continental US and some items are available for shipping to Canada.  It's always best to inquire first before ordering online if your order needs to ship to Canada.  If you place an order online for a package to be shipped to Canada, and if the item is not available for shipping to Canada then we will promplty notify you via e-mail and cancel your order and void or refund your credit card.

Is your website secure for ordering online? TOP
Yes, you can feel safe about ordering on our site.  All of your personal credit card information is collected through a secure server and is encrypted during transmission. 

If I place an order online will I receive an email order confirmation? TOP
Yes, once you complete your online transaction and if you provided an email during the checkout process you will receive an order confirmation sent to that email address.  Please be sure your email address is entered correctly.  All other correspondence that we may need to send you will be sent to this email address as well.  You will also be able to view your order online.  Once your order has been completed our system will send you a unique password so that you can check the status of your order anytime.  If you forget this password you can request that it be sent to you again.  There is a link to request this on the Order Tracking page.

How soon can I get my order? TOP
Most items ship within 24-48 hours (business hours).  Personalized items may take up to a week to process before they are ready to ship.  Generally allow at least 2 weeks to receive your package especially if it is personalized.  If you need an item quicker please call to inquire about our rush fees and/or an upgrade in shipping. Our office is not open on weekends or on major holidays. Packages are only shipped out during business hours (not on weekends or major holidays).  If you place an order on on web site on the weekends....that order will be recieved the following business day (generally that following Monday unless it is a holiday).  

What are your shipping costs? TOP
Shipping cost are calculated based on the weight of the items ordered and the total of your order.  To find out the total cost of your order including shipping, add the items you would like to purchase to the shopping cart.  Before you are asked for payment information the shopping cart will show you the total including shipping and/or taxes. 

What happens if my package is not delivered and is returned to Daddy Gift Mart? TOP
If your package is not delivered due to an incorrect address, rejected when delivered, or not picked up at the post office after the post office has notifed you of a need to pick up a package, then we will contact you as soon as the package comes back to us.  If you elect to have the package resent then you must pay the shipping charges again to have your package reshipped.  If you elect for us to keep the returned package because you no longer want it, then you will receive a refund for the original product cost only, less a 20% restocking fee.  Original shipping cost are non-refundable.

How can I return and item and how do I get a refund? TOP

For all returns you must call ahead to get a return authorization number before sending your items back to us.  Some items should be shipped to our store while others may need to be shipped back to the manufacturer's warehouse.
 
Personalized items are non-refundable, unless there is an error made on our part.  This includes any item that has been customized.  For general "gift" items that are not personalized, you may return a new, unopened package within 15 days of delivery for either an exchange or a refund.  Your returned item must be in "new", "unopened", condition and must be packed in the original shipping box with the original packing slip.  For your protecton we suggest using a shipping carrier that has tracking capability such as UPS, FedEx, or DHL.  Upon inspection of your returned order and if all is still in new, unopened, restockable condition you will receive a refund for the original product cost only (original shipping cost is non-refundable).  Return shipping cost will be at your expense unless you are returning a personalized item that has an error on it due to our fault in not preparing or creating it properly.  Please note it may take up to 10 days to process your return once it has been received by one of our warehouses.
 
Please call our office first prior to sending an item back to us.  Some items may need to be shipped directly to us, while others may need to be shipped back to the manufacturer's warehouse. When you call we will advise you where to return your package.  If you return your item 16-30 days after it has been delivered, then your item may be subject to a restocking fee of 20%-50% of the product cost. Restocking fees vary with each product.  Please note...return shipping is also at your expense.  We do not refund the original shipping cost nor reimburse for the cost to send the item back to us.

My item is damaged, missing parts, or has been customized incorrectly or I never received my package. How do I file a claim? TOP

All claims for defective merchandise, damaged items, missing items or orders never received even though the shipping carrier states they delivered it must be reported with 7 days of date of delivery or said delivery.  Please note Daddy Gift Mart is not responsible for missing packages and damaged products resulting from delivery errors or handling by the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL..etc.).  However we will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the shipping company.
 
If there is an error with your order please call our office at 1-866-428-6812 to discuss replacement or a refund. For personalized gifts or items that have an error please call our office to discuss the problem. The original item may or may not have to be returned before a replacement is granted.
